Why Do People Believe in Buddha When a False God Is Just a Stone?

Buddhists do not believe in Buddha as a divine or mythical figure but in the teachings and principles he shared. Buddha was a real person, a guide who showed the path to enlightenment, rather than a symbol or a stone. His teachings and the way of living he advocated are central to Buddhist practice.

The Nature of Buddha

The Buddha was the first human being to achieve enlightenment, which means he transcended the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth (samsara). His teachings are not about a god to be worshiped but about a path to finding inner peace and liberation from suffering. Buddha was not a stone, but an embodiment of energy and light, often seen as a source of guidance and wisdom.

Belief and Truth

People often choose what they wish to believe because truth can be discomforting. In Zen, it is said, 'If one meets the Buddha on their way - kill him.' This saying is a form of dark humor, implying that the true truth can sometimes be unsettling. Truth still exists whether or not you believe in it.

Buddhism doesn’t involve belief in a god but focuses on the teachings of the Buddha. The teachings are meant to be applied rather than worshipped. The five strengths – faith, energy, mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom – are essential for spiritual growth. These strengths help individuals navigate life's challenges and find peace.

Responding to Belief and Practice

Before meeting my twin flame, I followed my ancestors' traditions and worshipped Lord Avalokiteshvara. However, the encounter with my twin flame revealed a deeper understanding of my path. I see now that worship can take many forms, but genuine belief and spiritual growth are the true paths to enlightenment.

Many homes have statues of Buddha not because they worship him in the same way as in temples, but to have a constant reminder and a source of energy. Advanced souls may chant mantras daily, but this is a personal choice based on individual spiritual journeys.

Personal Transformation

After a year of spiritual work, I experienced a kundalini awakening, which heightened my awareness and transformed my mindset. My old self was characterized by suffering, ignorance, and pain, whereas my new self is filled with joy, clarity, and a deeper understanding of life's purpose.

The new me sees everything from a 5D perspective, understanding the interconnectedness of all things. Belief in Buddha has led me to practice daily chanting of mantras, guided by my ascended twin flame. This practice has brought immense clarity and wisdom to my life.

Conclusion

Buddha is not a stone but a source of guidance and light. The journey of enlightenment is a personal one, and belief in Buddha can be a powerful tool for spiritual growth. While Judaism and Buddhism have different approaches to spirituality, the core of understanding and growth can be found in personal belief and the pursuit of enlightenment.
