The Enlightening Spiritual Truth
The Enlightening Spiritual Truth
The enlightening truth is this - “What you are looking for is inside of you.”
If you look for it anywhere else— in scriptures, rituals, holy places, or temples—you’ll never find it. This profound wisdom emphasizes the inner journey of self-awareness and self-discovery. It suggests that you do not need to seek external validation or fulfillment; instead, true enlightenment lies within. This is a core message in many spiritual traditions, including Buddhism, Hinduism, and Christianity.
The Daily Struggle and the Path of Redemption
When you are honest about your beliefs, Jesus was the name I was given about a man that died for me. Almost 20 years ago, my journey was arduous and I faced what seemed like an eternal hell. However, I maintained my resolve and did not give up. I was immersed in the pages of the Bible and history books on the church. Through these, I discovered fascinating insights, such as the breakup of the Sanhedrin and the Pharisees, which led to the formation of the Roman Catholic Church. This revelation left me in awe and pondering the timeless nature of this organization.
In the book of Revelation, it is mentioned that the ones who had previously brought harm will see the manifestation of those who survived. This adds a layer of complexity to the spiritual journey, as those who see you could be both those who caused your suffering and those you have encountered along the way. It can be a dual perspective of judgment and redemption, where even the seemingly adversarial can have a part in your spiritual journey.
The Unity of Mind and Consciousness
The truth that there is only One Mind, One Life, One Consciousness, and One Creator is deeply transformative. This simplicity challenges our limited perception of the world and our selves. In this perspective, you are not bound by the physical form. You are beyond any concept of form or duality. The illusion of being separate and individual is a mere facade, a guise created by the mind. Jai Sadguru, which translates to "Victory to God," is a call to embrace this unity and godliness within.
Challenges in Enlightenment
The journey to enlightenment is not without its challenges. Everything is always changing. Embracing this truth can lead to enlightenment, while resisting it leads to the cycle of samsara, which is suffering. This is articulated beautifully by Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse in his work “What Makes You Not a Buddhist.”
It is easy to get lost in the daily struggles of life and forget about the deeper truths and the unifying force that ties all of us together. Remember, there is a Jesus, a profound figure that symbolizes the ultimate journey to enlightenment and redemption. Do not let your daily troubles obscure your path. Hold onto the light and the hope that lies within all of us.
Embrace the journey of self-discovery, the unity of consciousness, and the unwavering belief in the spirit and the inner light that guides us all.
