Harry's 'Spare' Memoir: A Waste of Money?

Are you going to spring for Hgary's memoir, 'Spare'? No. Here's why.

Resounding No

The answer is unequivocally no. Not for me, nor for most sensible minds. Recently, a copy made its way to my local library, but only one person showed interest in it - and he mistook it for a book about bowling. That's how off the mark 'Spare' is.

Partially Read, Partially Dismissed

I can't say I've read every chapter. Critiquing something one hasn't fully experienced feels untrustworthy. But the bits I did read left a sour taste. At best, they were childish and naive; at worst, they were outright ridiculous.

Deciding not to proceed with the rest of the book was a no-brainer. The sections that piqued my interest barely deserve the designation of 'read.'

The Price of Celebrity Privilege

My pensioner status has me watching pennies, making luxury books like 'Spare' unaffordable. But the book itself is far from luxury. It's a heap of nonsense that doesn't add value to society, nor does it serve as a facile excuse for a life lived in excess.

Harry's life is anything but underprivileged. His TV appearances, from which he spouted about the difficulties of a life he's never lacked for anything, only served to highlight his arrogance. He clearly lacks the humility to accept that some of his actions have put his family in considerable danger.

Consequences Lie Ahead

Now more than ever, Harry is poised to face the repercussions of his choices. The excessive access to money he's enjoyed has not only been a catalyst for his indulgences but has also created a security risk. Expect him to spend every dime of those millions on impenetrable protection. It's a precautionary measure that, considering his recent actions, seems more than warranted.

So, unless you're a fan of misplaced memoirs or have an interest in following every celebrity's every move, you might as well skip 'Spare.' Invest your money in something truly worthwhile, and let Harry face the consequences of his choices like a responsible individual.
